L'amica geniale 4
Under Laura Bispuri’s direction, which brought a personal and authentic touch, the VFX team was able to explore innovative techniques to emphasize the duality of the characters, particularly the contrast between Elena and Lila, now adults and deeply shaped by the social and political context of the era.

The visual effects are subtle yet pivotal, designed to highlight key moments such as scenes in the working-class neighborhoods or confrontations with the Solara clan, creating an atmosphere that blends realism with emotional tension. VFX also play a crucial role in the diegesis, facilitating the dynamic flow of the story and helping the set design emphasize the passage of time.
The narrative, which begins in the 1970s and unfolds through the 1980s into the early 1990s, is accompanied by significant changes in the city’s skyline, entirely recreated by our team. A standout example is the construction of Naples’ Centro Direzionale, whose evolution frame meticulously depicted throughout the season.
