Bulgari embodies the excellence of Italian luxury worldwide, synonymous with timeless jewelry and innovative design. With a 140-year history, the maison celebrates a tradition of creativity, craftsmanship, and an emotional connection with its clients and collaborators.

The main challenge was managing the simultaneous participation of thousands of users while ensuring the final result adhered to the maison's highest aesthetic standards.

Mission

Engage Bulgari employees in a collaborative art process that celebrated their unique relationship with the maison, utilizing generative artificial intelligence to create a collective artwork aligned with Bulgari's prestige and signature look & feel.

Context

As part of its 140th anniversary celebrations, Bulgari aimed to create an engaging and innovative experience for all employees, highlighting their sense of belonging and individual creativity.

Planning

We designed a DEM and a responsive web app, integrated with advanced technologies like ChatGPT and DALL-E, to provide employees with a unique personalized artistic creation experience. Through the platform, each employee could express their connection to Bulgari using metaphors inspired by precious stones, iconic jewelry, architectural influences, and personal emotions. These descriptions were processed by artificial intelligence to generate images reflecting Bulgari's distinctive look & feel.

To optimize the rendering process, we developed Spin&GO, a proprietary queue management system, ensuring efficiency and precision in generating the visual content.

Execution

The design of the responsive web app was driven by meticulous attention to UI/UX, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience. The integration of advanced artificial intelligence tools and the implementation of a rendering queue management system, named Spin&GO, enabled efficient and scalable generation of visual content. To enhance the immersive experience, Sound Design enriched the project with personalized audio tracks generated using SUNO, adding an emotional depth to the collective artwork.

The outcome of the project was extraordinary: a collective artwork comprising thousands of images created by employees, accompanied by a unique soundtrack. The entire experience was unveiled in the stunning setting of the Terrazza Caffarelli at the Capitoline Museums in Rome, an iconic venue that amplified the emotional impact of the event, celebrating the synergy between art, technology, and tradition.

Engaging thousands of employees in an artistic creation process transformed personal connections with Bulgari into an extraordinary collective masterpiece. Each participant contributed to celebrating their bond with the brand, creating a unique and deeply emotional experience.

The result was not just a work of art but a celebration of human connections and creativity. This initiative also reinforced Bulgari's image as an innovator in the luxury sector, showcasing how tradition and technology can merge to generate value and inspiration.
